“I enjoyed working with Grassroots Redeeming Love. This showed me that there is an inequality of help throughout the city — the places that need it the most are getting little to no help.”

“Since my mother died, I have been searching for a place in which I can pour my love. It’s been a hard few years, and Grassroots Redeeming Love is the perfect match for my grief. The lady I took home while volunteering had the same name as my mother.”

“Grassroots Redeeming Love is doing heartfelt work. I watched the work today and was in awe. You inspire me to really talk to the people and ask what they need. We’ll be back, but deeper into the neighborhoods.”

“I was so impressed by the leadership today. Blown away. This was not a small operation; you all made this happen. You made such an impact on Ms. Gwen’s life. That kind of kindness, patience, and hard work is what is going to get us through these dark times. Proud is not a big enough word.”
