How We Do It

Grassroots Redeeming Love is one of many nonprofits in St. Louis rebuilding communities impacted by the May 16th EF-3 tornado. We take the following three-pronged approach to St. Louis tornado relief:

  • Love

We restore dignity after a disaster. Our volunteers carry out acts of compassion, whether that be running an errand, dropping off donations, or lending an ear to residents in need.

  • Labor

We roll up our sleeves to rebuild North City. Our St. Louis disaster relief volunteers clear debris from homes, beautify spaces, and rebuild hope in recovering communities.

  • Advocacy

We amplify the voices of the underserved. Whether attending town halls or sharing real stories, our team brings awareness to systemic racism and inequity in St. Louis.

Who We Serve

Grassroots Redeeming Love stands alongside real people who have long been overlooked by systems designed to exclude them. Our nonprofit in St. Louis sees, hears, and cares for North City residents like:

  • Restoring photos & personal items

  • Connecting him with family
  • Providing clothing
  • Facilitating medical assistance
