Gwen lost her entire home in the tornado — leaving her, her son, and their two dogs to live in a tent beside their property. Grassroots Redeeming Love stepped in to provide St. Louis tornado relief, including:

  • Funding 3 weeks of housing
  • Filling 40-yard dumpsters with debris
  • Restoring photos & personal items
  • Recovering viable bricks
  • $11.5K donated toward recovery efforts

Judy’s home lost its roof in the tornado, leaving many of her belongings destroyed and others exposed to the elements. Grassroots Redeeming Love stepped in to support Judy and her family with St. Louis disaster relief, including:

  • Demolished the storm-damaged home through FEMA
  • Working with family through rebuilding process
  • Donated $6.8K towards immediate tornado relief
  • Committed $300k to rebuilding for the Simmons Family, donate to their project here.

  • Clearing his home of debris
  • Filling 40-yard dumpsters with debris

  • Supported his transition into assisted living

After the tornado left Jeanette Robinson’s home heavily damaged, the 82-year-old St. Louis resident spent months navigating the long road to recovery. Grassroots Redeeming Love stepped in to support Jeanette by:

  • Rebuilt storm-destroyed back of house
  • Replaced roof 
  • Held multiple volunteer efforts to regain use of yard 
  • $96K donated toward recovery efforts

  • Furnished his new apartment with essential household items
