Challenges Linger for North City Resident After EF-3 Tornado

Tornado victims in Fountain Park, a neighborhood in North St. Louis, are still grappling with the long-term impact of the May 16 storm. Resident Melvin Arnold, who has lived in his home for more than 40 years, remains without power more than five months later—and still has no timeline for restoration. In the meantime, Grassroots Redeeming Love has stepped in to fill the gaps while the city works toward recovery.
